for T.T.S-M.
must take out even the tonsils of a poem

In What To Keep Years
at eighty I can have a party
bigger than the one, at eighteen,
I wish I had
I have a hard on for life, zest for life
if only I could get her dress off
her draws off
my draw with pajamas, with draw strings,
when I pulled it open,
fell upon the floor
