Sour Grapes
for M.G.S.

not difficult at all
for her to find marijuana,
not surprising to find she's smoking
when her dad left marijuana
in her genes pocket,
in a packet in her genes

why cant the marijuana in the genes packet take a recessive form, do we not all possess parts of defects in our own gene packets but indeed(probably through the grace of God) overcome..so indeed my dear friend i disagree that the marijuana she smokes was left in her gene pocket by her father but you know what the imagery gene/jean pocket is beautiful

I love the jeans/genes play on sound of words...that's just fantastic. Very clever.

And you're very nice to come to see what my mind might have picked up or put down. I have a handful of Sonias in my heart at present; stored under one or the other of the four loves, or . Which of my Sonias is this?

Are you wearing perfume, dab of perfume and nothing else? Oh, what clue for a blind man?

Do you not dare claim poem written especially for you, Until Day Clean, by affixing some comment beside it?

Thanks for passing through, passing into my senses; though I've concluded you're timid, youre shy. I love you for stopping by. Bye!

Esquire of the mountain,
It is in what follows, I see, that you put your faith. I thank you for sympathy for the father:

(Jeremiah 31:29-30)
"In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children's teeth are set on edge. But every one shall die for his own iniquity: each man who eats the sour grape, his teeth will be set on edge."
