Boxing Day Morning
she can certainly
compete, complete
a third lap in my lap
could live in my lap
if comfortable, if happy
for certain, I’d be
the happiest of men
were we able to make
Junkanoo together
make laps together
make Christmas come
Boxing day, certainly
no time for mourning
look whom we saw
when dawn broke
like an egg breaks
what egg white
what yolk
