Ice Buckets
for T.L.C.

until she stretched
until she screamed
came quarts
of ice cream

want her
hot to trot
good to go

with me always

unable to get along
without her
go anywhere
or do anything

kitten I love, I have
won’t let leave the house
not even to catch a mouse

my mouse,
the only mouse
she’ll ever need

however greedy she is
however hungry she gets
