Cardboard Box

the mind can bend
and it can break

or it can blend
and it can break like waves
up against rocks

the mind can snap
can rip like metal, like a hinge
too many times
back and forth

the mind can break off from the mind
after banging banging
in the storm of life

or we can laugh
