What Knots
for N.B.

at times I'd feel the only way to resolve our differences
our conflict
was in bed

not unlike arguments or debates which end in duels
on battle fields

place beyond words to work out what words cannot

we'd get all knotted up and to unknot
we'd need sheets to leave in knots

when we climbed out of the arena, sweaty and bare
