Allspice
for t.l.c.

she lets me move her
right attitude
move about in her
move her about in bed

though she’s submissive
she’s just as able, just as capable
of being intractable, incorrigible,
as stubborn as a mule

I like her both ways actually
on good days and bad days

as many ways to fix her
or for her to fix me
as a dish of lamb
or fish or chicken

I like to lay her open
season her good
